Pilot Court Coordinators

1. Serve as direct liaison between the USAID Justice
Strengthening Project and the Pilot Court.
2. Coordinate project
technical assistance in the pilot court under the general direction of the Chief
of Party, the technical direction of component leads and the President of the
Court where assigned to assist in the implementation of the pilot court program

3. Assist in the development of the PACT process for the pilot court
and then ensure that the commitments within the PACT are maintained by the
courts, the MOJ and the USAID project
4. Assist to provide technical
assistance to the pilot court, including but no limited to activities directed
to achieving the following goals: improved caseflow management, delay reduction,
increased public access and satisfaction, improved records management,
implementation of court facility and information technology improvements, and
improved court operations
5. Assist in the implementation of the
automated case management system to be installed in the courts and coordinate
with programmers, analysts, installers and maintainers to ensure success of the
system.
6. Conduct legal research on a variety of topics including but
not limited to legislation, court functioning, and legal education and
training
7. Collect and analyze statistical information or other data
to assist with the implementation of the pilot court program
8. Other
duties assigned by the Chief of Party.

Qualifications
– A degree in Law
– Prior work with the
Congolese Court System
– Prior work experience with Internationally-funded
projects
– 10+ years of professional experience
– Congolese
citizenship
– Fluency in French and English
