05 04 11 FotC: Join Hands For Congo – Friday, April 8th Washington, DC

The Dear Hillary Campaign for the Congo is rallying at the
main entrance to the State Department to demand that Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton ask President Obama to appoint a Special Envoy to the Great Lakes Region
of Africa. At noon, we will line up on the sidewalk to form a human chain around
the complex. There will be speeches and drumming as well.

5 million
deaths, around 3.4 million people displaced and hundreds of thousands of women
raped and tortured. Ending this conflict must become a foreign policy priority
of the US
