Cause Announcement from Breaking the Silence: The Congo

We will equip our team members throughout the country with video
cameras in order to document their participation in Congo Week. The effort will
be lead primarily by our student partners. They will document the activities of
Congo Week so that the global community can participate in the efforts being
lead by Congolese youth to address the scourge of sexual violence as well as
their efforts to chart a new course for the future of the country by first
assessing how the mighty Congo has arrived in the position that it is in today.

Our goal is to raise 1500 to purchase 10 cameras for the students to
document the Congo Week activities. We have already purchased two cameras and
need 8 more. Support us in our efforts to bring the voice of Congolese youth and
women to the global community unvarnished and unfiltered.
