Duration: 24 months
Allowance: £24, 473 – £26, 698 per annum. Plus cost of living allowance of £5,111, insurance cover, accommodation allowance, return flight.

We have the honor to invite you to a seminar "Raising Effectiveness of Privately Financed Education Projects in Africa". This will take place on Saturday 29 November 2008 at the University of Antwerp, Prinsstraat 13 in Antwerp, Room C-103, from 09:00 till 15:30 hrs. The seminar is organized by a number of NGO's that finance small scale education projects in Africa and can be situated in the so-called "4th Pillar" of development aid. We kindly welcome the participation of the Institute of Development Policy and Management (IOB)/University of Antwerp.

The Africa Canada Accountability Coalition, which was recently founded by UBC students, is planning a day of action on November 27, 2008.

The goal is to raise awareness about the conflict in the DRC and to ask the Canadian government to act and alleviate human suffering in the region.
