Brussels: debate about DR Congo in KVS (November 15th)
The occasion for this debate is the publication of two new books: Elections and the Media in Post-Conflict Africa: Votes and voices for peace by Marie-Soleil Frère (University of Brussels) and Congo Masquerade: the political culture of aid inefficiency and reform failure by Theodore Trefon (Royal Museum of Central Africa). Both books will be introduced by the authors themselves, after which they will hold a debate with Koen Vidal (De Morgen), François Ryckmans (RTBF journalist), Hans Hoebeke (Egmont Institute) and others.
